ABOUT DR. RAYMOND TRIGG
Lieutenant Raymond Trigg has 27 years of experience as a sworn police officer.
Lt. Trigg was a highly respected officer, not only in his past role as a supervisor but as an officer in general, that had been known to excel in any unit in which he is assigned. He has an extensive teaching history, including employment with Raritan Valley Community College, Middlesex County College, and at Rutgers, the State University as an adjunct professor in criminal justice.
Raymond D. Trigg graduated from Rutgers College in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration of Justice.
Trigg received his Master of Arts in Human Resource Training and Development from Seton Hall University and his Education Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership, Management, and Policy also from Seton Hall University. Doctorate of Education in Higher Education, Leadership, Management and Policy from Seton Hall University. While attending Rutgers University, Trigg learned how important an education was and how to succeed through the help of the E.O.F. program.
Trigg has been an adjunct professor for the past 14 years at Middlesex County Community College and was a part-time professor at Rutgers University for 7 years. He has taught numerous law enforcement classes. Now retired, during his 27 years as a police officer, he has been assigned to numerous units within the department.
Trigg has reached over 25,000 kids with the message of being drug- and gang-free. During his career, he has also implemented many programs, such as the Junior Officer Program, Kids Against Graffiti, Cry Up Program, GREAT Summer Program, and New Brunswick High School Police Collaborative.
